The news on Rhonda Rice is all over the media as reporters say she bit two students over the jar of pickles. However, she admitted to only licking them and called it a “playing around with students.”
Rhonda has been teaching in the school since 2000. It is hard to believe that she could do such an unacceptable act after spending over two decades in the school. She might have been aware of all dos and don’ts.

Rhonda Rice is a teacher in Polk County Public school located in Bartow, Florida. She faces misdemeanor battery charges over the allegation of not beating in fact, biting two of the students.
Kathy Toro is the aunt of one of the students. The 15-years old boy at Bartow Middle School was informed about the incident Toro and Toro went to Bartow police to press charges in November.
The two students were working in the school store, where Rhonda tried to take the jar of pickles, when the students tried to take it back, she bit them on the forearm.
Upon investigation, Rhonda admitted that she licked the student, but that was just the playful act, which Toro still thinks unethical. Bartow police and the state attorney’s office had filed two misdemeanor battery charges against Rhonda.

Rice faces two charges and is set to be arraigned on the 31st of March 2022. Before relocating Rice to Sleepy Hill Middle School, she was suspended, for three days.
